A 9-day journey in Sicily designed to strengthen youth workers through nature-based and experiential learning.

The Context

From Idea to Impact

"The Sound of Nature" is a direct response to the digital overload and stress faced by modern youth workers. We aim to re-integrate nature, embodiment, and creativity into youth work practice.

Target Group

We are looking for motivated participants ready to dive deep into experiential learning.

  • 24 Youth Workers
  • Aged 20+
  • 8 European Countries

Priority given to participants with fewer opportunities and those working in formal/non-formal education settings with a strong motivation to apply nature-based approaches.

Project Objectives

Specific goals of the training course:

Rediscovering nature as a space for well-being, reflection, and inspiration.

Equipping participants with non-formal, nature-based and creative methodologies.

Strengthening emotional regulation and self-care skills for sustainable youth work.

Increasing confidence in facilitating outdoor and experiential activities.

Fostering exchange of practices and long-term cooperation among organisations.

Azienda Agricola San Martino

Nestled between the majestic Mount Etna and the Mediterranean coast.

18th-Century Historic Villa

The venue is centred around a historic villa surrounded by extensive green areas. It offers a strong sense of privacy, creating an atmosphere of calm beauty fully immersed in greenery.

Rural yet Accessible

Located in Carruba (Giarre – Catania). Despite being immersed in a quiet rural area, the venue is easily accessible by public transportation.

The Glass Shala

Our main indoor workspace. A large, bright, open space with glass walls offering a direct view of Mount Etna. It provides an inspiring and grounding setting for learning, reflection, and group work.
